Euro 2020 | Semi Final Predictions | Who Will Reach The Final?

We are already at the Semi Final stage of the tournament, where has the time gone? there have been so many memorable moments. will more be created over the next two nights? we shall see for sure.

Italy vs. Spain
Italy will be without Leonardo Spinazzola after he suffered an injury to his Achilles during his teams game vs. Belgium in the previous round, when he left the pitch the team still played top quality football that got them to this stage of the competition, they are almost certain to play with the same tempo against Spain who have been been suspect in defence, yet score goals, but they will do well to cause a threat to Italy's defence, especially with Giorgio Chiellini and Leonardo Bonucci playing, also, in case anyone was wondering why Spain's penalty shootout win vs. Switzerland was not really talked about in the Quarter Final match reviews. it is because the standard of the penalties were terrible, I'm sure you will agree. in terms of who wins this one? it's a very easy choice to make.

Predicted Winner: ITALY.

England vs. Denmark
The nations anticipation for this game here in England has been quiet, it is sure to pick up as kick off nears, the team has emulated its World Cup journey by making it to the Semi Finals, they will look to go one better, especially in front of a home crowd at Wembley, it will be interesting to see what the line up and formation will be, whereas Denmark will be motivated to silence the crowd,  they have put in some quality team performances in order to make it this far, it is a very difficult choice to make in terms of who wins here, because The Three Lions have not reached a final since 1966, this is a hurdle Gareth Southgate's team will want to overcome, on the other hand, Denmark last won the Euro's in 1992 so they will want to make it to the final and attempt to add to their trophy tally. 

Predicted Winner: ENGLAND.

Euro 2020 | Semi-Final Match Reactions | Spain Pay The Penalty Against Italy | England Reach The Final

The last two nights of the Semi Finals were so dramatic, if you did not enjoy the games, then football is not the sport for you. Here are the Match Reactions. Italy 1-1 Spain (Italy won 4-2 on Penalties) Wembley played host to what was a very entertaining clash between two sides of trophy winning pedigree, Italy were the overwhelming favourites, however, on reflection, Spain were the better team with the ball, but they failed to finish their chances, you could sense that as the game went on, Italy were going to capitalise on that fact, which proved to be correct as Federico Chiesa scored with a great curling shot. Spain responded by bringing on Alvaro Morata, who scored the equaliser, wrong footing the opposition goalkeeper in the process, there wasn't much in it between the two sides in extra time and as time went on it was noticeable they were settling for the penalty shoot-out.
